TradesCallPro offers three plans:
Quick Kayla — $59.99/month: 24/7 inbound call answering, emergency dispatch, on-call notifications, SMS call summaries, and 300 included minutes. No phone scheduling — Kayla takes a message and notifies you.
Kayla Office — $99.99/month: The full operations platform — jobs, workers, scheduling, payments, and QuickBooks sync. WebRTC Kayla is built into both your admin dashboard and your workers' mobile app. You answer your own phone; Kayla runs your back office.
Kayla Complete — $199.99/month: Everything in Kayla Office plus 24/7 inbound call answering, full phone-based booking and deposit collection, and 1,200 included call minutes/month. The all-in-one solution.
Quick Kayla Add-on (for Kayla Office): Add inbound call answering to your Kayla Office plan for +$59.99/month. Total comes to $159.98/month — saving you $40.01 vs. buying Kayla Complete.
Extra Minutes (300 min block): +$30/month per block, stackable. Add as many blocks as you need if you exceed your plan's included minutes.
Additional Worker Seat: +$19/seat/month on any plan. Quick Kayla and Kayla Complete include 5 seats. Add more as your team grows.
Annual billing gives you 2 months free on any plan — effectively a 17% discount. You pay for 10 months and get 12. Annual plans are billed upfront and can be cancelled with a prorated refund.
A minute is one minute of inbound call time handled by Kayla. Quick Kayla includes 300 minutes/month. Kayla Complete includes 1,200 minutes/month. You can add Extra Minutes packs (+$30/mo per 300 min block) on any plan. Minutes reset on your billing cycle date.
You can purchase Extra Minutes packs at any time — $30/month per 300-minute block, stackable. You'll receive an SMS alert when you've used 80% of your included minutes so you're never caught off guard.
Worker seats allow you to add field workers to your TradesCallPro account. Kayla Office and Kayla Complete include 5 seats. You can add more at $19/seat/month. Workers get access to the mobile app for clock-in/out, job status updates, GPS tracking, and WebRTC access to Kayla.
Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You can manage your plan from the Account page in your client portal.
No setup fees and no contracts. We save your card on Day 1 but do not charge until Day 30 — cancel before then and you pay nothing. After Day 30, your plan billing begins automatically.
Call Answering
Quick Kayla ($59.99/mo) and Kayla Complete ($199.99/mo) include 24/7 inbound call answering. Kayla Office ($99.99/mo) does not include call answering — but you can add it for +$59.99/mo (the Quick Kayla Add-on, total $159.98/mo).
Yes. Kayla uses Cartesia's high-quality voice synthesis, trained to sound natural and conversational. She introduces herself as your business's receptionist, uses your business name, and speaks in a professional trades-appropriate manner. Call +1 (863) 256-8108 to hear her.
On Quick Kayla: Kayla answers the call, identifies the caller's need, captures their name and callback number, notifies on-call workers of emergencies, and sends you a full SMS summary.
On Kayla Complete: Everything above, plus Kayla can book jobs into your schedule, collect deposit payments over the phone, and handle after-hours emergency dispatch with full routing.
Yes — on Kayla Complete. Kayla can check your availability, propose appointment times, and book the job directly into your schedule during the call. On Quick Kayla, she takes a message and notifies you instead.
If a caller describes an emergency (gas leak, flooding, no heat in winter, electrical hazard, etc.), Kayla immediately triggers emergency dispatch. Your on-call worker is notified by SMS, and you receive an alert. Emergency dispatch overrides any quiet hours settings — you always get notified.
Kayla is designed to handle a wide range of accents, speaking speeds, and trades-specific vocabulary. If she genuinely cannot understand or resolve a caller's request, she captures their contact information and sends you a detailed SMS so you can follow up. No call is dropped without a record.
Yes. Kayla plays a TCPA-compliant recording disclosure on every call without exception. Recordings are stored securely and accessible through your client portal.
Kayla Office Platform
Kayla Office ($99.99/mo) and Kayla Complete ($199.99/mo) include the full operations platform: jobs, workers, scheduling, payments, receipts, QuickBooks sync, and the worker mobile app.
Your client portal at app.tradescallpro.com includes: call history and transcripts, job management, worker management, booking calendar, receipt approval and sending, payment history, intelligence reports, AI recommendations, account management, and notification preferences.
Yes — available on iOS and Android. Workers can clock in/out with GPS verification, update job status in real time, view job details, upload before/after photos, access property access codes, and talk to Kayla via WebRTC directly from the app. No phone call needed.
Yes. Two-way QuickBooks sync is included in Kayla Office and Kayla Complete. Customers, invoices, and payments are synced automatically. You can also run an initial import to bring your existing QuickBooks data into TradesCallPro.
Yes — on Kayla Complete. Kayla can collect credit card deposits during a booking call, processed securely through Stripe. Deposits appear in your payment history and sync to QuickBooks.
TradesCallPro processes payments through Stripe. Customers can pay by credit card, debit card, or ACH bank transfer. All payment processing is PCI-compliant through Stripe.
Kayla analyzes your call patterns, booking history, and job data to surface actionable recommendations — things like optimal scheduling windows, common caller requests you could turn into service packages, or recurring issues that suggest a product or process change. Recommendations appear in your portal and can be accepted or dismissed.
Weekly and monthly intelligence reports summarize your call volume, booking rate, revenue, worker utilization, and Kayla's performance. Reports are delivered by SMS and accessible in your portal.
Yes. Each job has a Permit section with status tracking (Required → Applied → Approved), a permit number field, permit cost tracker, due date, and notes. The permit status appears as a badge on the job detail and job list. Workers can update permit status from the mobile app.
Yes. Each job has a file attachment section where you can upload PDFs, photos, DOCX, and XLSX files. Files are labeled (Permit, Contract, Scope of Work, Inspection Report, Photo, Other) and accessible from both the admin dashboard and the worker mobile app. Workers can upload photos and documents from their phones.
Yes. Every job has a priority level: Emergency, High, Normal, or Low. Setting a job to Emergency triggers an immediate SMS alert to the admin. The job calendar uses color-coding: emergency=red, high=orange, normal=blue, low=green. Job lists can be sorted by priority.
Overdue jobs (scheduled date in the past, not yet complete) are flagged automatically in your job list. You can filter by overdue jobs. If you have overdue SMS notifications enabled in Settings, you get a daily summary SMS listing overdue job count with a direct link.
Yes. Toggle between List and Calendar view on the jobs page. Monthly and weekly views available. Jobs are displayed as colored blocks by priority. Click any job to open a quick-view panel. Drag a job block to a new date to reschedule it (admin only).
Yes. Tag each worker with their skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, roofing, etc.) in their worker profile. When assigning a job, filter your workers by required skill. Jobs can have required skills set — filter your job list by skill to find the right assignments.
Yes. Workers clock in and out with GPS via the mobile app. From the Workers section, export a timesheet for any worker and date range as a CSV or PDF. Bulk export all workers in one CSV file. The PDF includes the TradesCallPro header, worker name, date range, and a totals row.
Notifications & SMS
Notifications depend on your plan:
Call Events (Quick Kayla + Complete): Call answered, missed call, emergency dispatch triggered, on-call worker notified.
Platform Events (Kayla Office + Complete): Worker clock-in/out, job status change, payment received, new booking, photo uploaded, worker arrived/left site.
Complete-only: Kayla booked job over phone, deposit collected, callback requested, after-hours emergency handled.
Yes. Go to Settings → Notifications in your admin panel to toggle each event type individually. You choose exactly which events trigger an SMS to you.
Quiet hours let you set a time window (e.g., 10 PM – 6 AM) during which non-urgent SMS notifications are held until morning. You set start and end times in Settings → Notifications. Emergency dispatch always overrides quiet hours — you will always be notified of genuine emergencies regardless of your quiet hours setting.
On-call person management lets you designate who receives emergency alerts. You can set up multiple on-call contacts with schedules (anytime, business hours, evenings and weekends, or custom). Manage on-call persons in Settings.
Yes — on Kayla Office and Complete, Kayla can send booking confirmations, job status updates, and receipt links to your customers via SMS. Customer SMS preferences are managed per-customer in the platform.
Setup & Support
Most businesses are live within 15 minutes. The onboarding wizard walks you through your business details, on-call contact, and plan confirmation. For Kayla Complete, you also verify Kayla's call answering during setup.
No. You can forward your existing business line to Kayla's number, or use Kayla's number as your advertised business line. Either approach works. We'll give you a dedicated Kayla number during onboarding.
Support is available via SMS and email. For urgent issues, call our founder directly — Donovan Byford is hands-on with every customer during the early access period. We also monitor Kayla's performance 24/7 and proactively alert you to any issues.
Yes. During onboarding you set your business name, trade type, service area, and preferred call handling style. Kayla uses this to personalize every call. Advanced prompt customization is available for Kayla Complete customers.
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Call recordings are stored in private cloud storage with access-controlled signed URLs — recordings are never publicly accessible. Phone numbers and sensitive data are stored with AES-256-GCM encryption. We comply with TCPA requirements on every call.
Yes. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and take effect at the end of your current billing period. Annual plans can be cancelled with a prorated refund for unused months. No cancellation fees.
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, during which you can export your call history, job records, customer list, and payment history. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted per our retention policy.
